Sports have always been a central part of my life. Whether it was playing, watching or listening to games while growing up in New Jersey, my fascination never ceased.
That passion for sports eventually turned into a livelihood. I have been a play-by-play announcer since 2004, while also serving as a sports reporter, studio host, sideline reporter and color analyst.
Majoring in TV / radio broadcast journalism within the prestigious Scripps School at Ohio University, I honed my craft for a career that has now lasted 20 years.
While I always wanted to be involved in sports, my broadcasting journey actually began at New Jersey 101.5 FM, a news / talk radio station based in Trenton.
While there, I specialized in news anchoring and reporting. The experience was valuable, garnering five awards from the Associated Press of New Jersey and the New Jersey Broadcasters' Association.
On the side, I dabbled in sports broadcasting, filling in with Rider University of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. For nine years, I covered men's and women's basketball for the Broncs, while also helping with Rider baseball broadcasts.
In 2013, my sports passion reached a new level. I relocated to North Carolina and began building a versatile play-by-play portfolio in football, basketball and baseball.
While at Learfield, I have learned from some of the best broadcasters in the industry, working primarily with Power-Five schools such as Florida State, Ole Miss, Texas, UCLA and Arizona State.
With several hundred broadcasts under my belt in multiple sports, I am prepared for any situation and challenge.
